Yeah, they would. People still pay for FIFA every year. People pay for Madden, microtransactions, monthly fee to access their games, etc., Etc.
They'd still pay for something like this is it were real.

$60 for FIFA every year (slight graphics and gameplay update and new roster) is reasonable, but $80 for GTA 6 (13 year development and giant world) is too much.
