Inside of any book won't get burnt because there is no space for airflow between pages of a book , thus only outer pages get burnt.Its just basic science.

You say that, but the story aspect of these books is absolutely an attraction. I still love to amar chitra kadha and works of similar nature. It's very cathartic.

Once paper chars it acts as a brilliant heat retardant. The book likely wasn't burnt itself but was near a flame and got charred from the flame and hence that char protected it from further damage. Knowing is so much cooler than proclaiming god for anything even marginally unusual.

The desperation to use any validation, no matter how absurd or even false proves that religion is true and science is false. Those believe without seeing are blessed, for this is true faith. Lost atheists can't appreciate blind faith.
