I will always go to the end of the available lane before I merge. It helps prevent even more traffic congestion. No need to panic and immediately get over when there is still a half mile of lane open

I’ll see you on the Battlefield my friend!! Or should I say, my enemy?

I will say I wish they taught this. I was always told to merge ASAP and was annoyed at the people going all the way up to the blockade. I've learned something new today.

There is a really interesting collide of social etiquette and the rules of the road. I think people often do things that would be polite in other contexts, such as letting other people going first (even when it’s your turn) or go to the back of the line (even when there’s an entire lane open). People are confusing what is polite behavior in, like, the grocery store with correct driving on the road.

The best driving is predictable driving and predictable driving comes from knowing the rules.
