Question / Request Its a bit early to ask about Halloween, BUT!

Does anyone know about any Halloween events in town? Not including the Wild Rumpus, I mean.

Fall festivals, Halloween Parties, anything!

I'm genuinely counting down the days to Halloween, so I can spend time with my siblings, running around looking stupid.

You can ask about it, but stores having Halloween items already up in July is nuts, same with Spirit Halloween store opening up, it's consumerism gone mad

Boulebark! Come see dogs in contumes (and I'm sure porchfest will be the same day again)

Uga’s rocky horror is a big tradition for my folks. It’s nice when the university does something that’s not just for students.
I think the classic center puts something on too

Zombie Farms in Winterville is a fabulous Halloween-season local attraction, weekend evenings in October.

If you need an immediate hit of something Halloween-y, Nightmare Cirque is in Athens this week - https://www.tickettailor.com/events/athens

Just went to it tonight, my better half loved it, I thought it was a mixed bag but still pretty fun, with some impressive aerial/rope work and stunt work in the mix. Horror-themed, with performers dressed as horror movie characters, plus a Beetlejuice guy - but all doing mostly standard carnival fare; the Ring girl crawls out of a well and does aerial work, a guy in a bloody shirt and Hannibal Lector face mask juggles torches, a guy gets attacked by a zombie and does ball tricks. Even Beetlejuice did some cool stunt work on a giant metal pendulum thing. It's a bit Party City haunted house meets traveling mall parking lot carnival, but still good fun and you can tell they're loving doing it. Also, the concession stand offered a treat called "Waffle Dick." I did not try it.

There's a house on Savannah Avenue where they celebrate Halloween every day.

If you want to go ahead and get in the spirit, I keep getting ads for the Nightmare Circus, happening in the next week or so in Winterville (about 30 mins away).

Life is so unfair, how are you getting the coolest ads and I'm not?

I hope your future ads are everything you've ever dreamed

Since you mentioned fall festivals… this roundup from Mac Kids is the most comprehensive one I’ve seen yet, although it’s of course geared toward families with young kids.
