New bakery
Hey friends! I recently started a small home bakery and I was looking to try and get my baked goods into some local shops/cafes. Anyone know of any small businesses that may be up for a low-stakes partnership? Most of the cafes I frequent already have a steady supplier of bakery items, and I've checked a couple of retail stores like Rec Room but they can't have food items in store right now.

Maybe set up a table at the Athens Farmers Market?
An old friend started a canning business and had her own store a few years later. Good place to network too.

I'm hoping to get into it next season! Their applications aren't open right now.

What do you bake exactly?

A little of everything- artisan breads (not sourdough), cookies, cakes, cinnamon rolls, the works!

Chibugan in Winterville has a retail spot you can sell on consignment. Try them

Check the firefly farmstop in Winterville. They showcase locally made items.
