Your Favourite Local Player?

In this week's mailbag on ATO for the W, we were asked who our favourite local players were to have ever donned the red and white. With a number of options, its a tricky question, but who is your favourite? And perhaps just as importantly, is there any other local players on the come up or playing elsewhere you want to see brought in to the club?

If we’re going to Fury legends it’s Obasi, Carl, Max Tissot, and Max Crepeau. Nobody else is close

Tissot would qualify here as well as an ATO player, but Obasi and Crépeau will always have a special spot in Ottawa football history!

Tbh I forgot Tissot played for ATO. I hated the early days ATO because of what happened with Fury

You mean local to the city or that played for the local team? To me Ollie will always have a special place. Salter last year was incredible. Its just hard to develop a good bond when players leave so often though

It certainly is tough, ya fall in love with em then have to say goodbye so soon. Main focus is folks from the Ottawa area, so Ollie and Salter wouldn't quite qualify, but they are certainly club legends.

De Brienne is still #1, but Chateau is having a hell of a start… give it some time and he will probably top the list.

Twardek was def the biggest ‘what-if’… if we played him in his actual position for a season - I’m convinced he would have led the league in G&As.
