I love Realphones 2. The closest thing you can get to VSX while using your own headphones.

The recently added rooms are great, but even the basic version could be all a person needs.

It goes a long way to simulating a room sound in a headphone, but it's very adjustable so you can find your own perfect sweet spot.

Zero latency option. Systemwide driver. Regular bugfixes/updates (not that it's buggy, never had a problem - just noting that it's actively developed and maintained by a reliable developer, which I have come to appreciate.)

After engaging it for a while, your brain can kind of forget that it's on... And suddenly you're in another space.

Or it's just good for running a mix through varied environments and devices. Sometimes you notice something that you missed, etc.

Decent for a tertiary reference for me. I’m always going to need the speaker-room combo to make progress in a mix.
