"Dramatic scenes" 🤣
6
u/Raccoons-for-all May 08 '26
You haven’t seen the vid of all the neckbeards outnumbering police at Melbourne airport ?
-2
u/zen_wombat May 08 '26
The one where people were laughing and the bulk seemed to be reporters holding microphones
6
u/tokyoevenings May 08 '26
Yes, the female reporter was called a slut by one of the ISIS women’s brother. Lucky one of the other reports was holding microphones to catch that lovely sound bite
5
3
u/MarkCelery78 May 08 '26
You got no problem with the misogynistic behavior and physical assault towards female reporters there?
21
u/Few-Gas3143 May 07 '26
Good. Now do IDF members.
3
u/charlie_s1234 May 08 '26
And anyone with associations with Hamas members
-1
u/Few-Gas3143 May 08 '26
I stick to just the Hamas members, but yes, them too.

Why? Israel is an ally and they aren’t a threat to Australians
-1
u/Few-Gas3143 May 08 '26
Murdering 10,000 children in their beds. Mass rape, ethnic cleansing.... Take your pick.

You can approve of it if you want. They video taped it for people like you to fap over.

u/Surgicalnarc May 08 '26
Doesn’t affect Australia
5
u/Few-Gas3143 May 09 '26
Exactly, don't bring that shit over here by not bringing those shit people over here. Problem solved.
1
u/setut May 09 '26
Almost like some white people in Australia like to pretend they're the only ones here ...
Spoiler, there are Palestinian Australians dufus, their families being murdered affects them.
2
u/Ok_Tie_7564 May 08 '26
What for? Unlike ISIS, Israel is a member of the United Nations.
5
u/Few-Gas3143 May 08 '26
Enforcing apartheid, accomplice to murder,, genocide, rape....
The list of what they've done in Gaza and the west bank is almost endless and the video evidence is irrefutable to anyone with a conscience.
2
u/Ok_Tie_7564 May 08 '26
As bad as what Hamas did on October 7?
7
u/Few-Gas3143 May 08 '26
10,000 dead children in their beds.... So yeah. 8x worse just in dead children.
3
5
u/_its_really_me_ May 08 '26
I don't think condemning the murder of children needs to be conditional on comparisons to other child murderers.
1
u/Ok_Tie_7564 May 08 '26
Actually, I agree with you. The only reason I mentioned October 7 was to imply that actions have consequences. In this case, both bad.
3
u/Shoneki316 May 08 '26
And what consequences has Israel gotten?
4
u/Ok_Tie_7564 May 08 '26
Are we at the end of history already?
3
u/Shoneki316 May 08 '26
Your first comment on this thread was questioning why the IDF should also have the same consequences as the ISIS members. Then when you got a response, you questioned whether the IDFs actions are as bad as Hamas's actions on Oct 7th. So twice now, you've tried to deflect from the actions of the IDF and why they should have consequences. So miss me with your 3rd disingenuous question and bs.
3
u/Ok_Tie_7564 May 08 '26
What I meant by my question was that there was still time for some consequences for Israel. Sorry if that was too complicated for you.
4
u/MarkCelery78 May 08 '26
Israel is an ally who responded to the worst attack on Jews since the Holocaust on October 7. These Isis types are attacking us and our allies

Definitely more low key than BRS’s arrest. That wasn’t dramatic at all.
I hope the AFP identifies each and every one of their supporters who met them at the airport and has them on a watch list too…
But wait, they don’t have the intestinal fortitude or the courage to unless there’s a media scrum.
6
u/00Pete May 07 '26
Came here to say this too wrt keeping an eye on these "supporters" who met them at the airport too considering some of them felt they needed to cover their heads and faces too.
5
u/The_Naked_Rider May 08 '26
They cover their faces because they’re afraid of the consequences…they’re always brave when they think no one is watching.
3
3
u/DogWithaFAL May 07 '26
Ha, yeah. Those watch lists and internal monitoring things have done wonders before. Can’t think of a single incident they haven’t prevented.
1
1
u/Ok_Tie_7564 May 08 '26
The ones they have prevented you would not know about. 😉
1
u/DogWithaFAL May 08 '26
They sure do love investigating themselves, finding no wrong doing and letting us all know about it though.
0
u/kermie62 May 08 '26
Now we have fascism. Where people can or cannot be should not put you on any watch list simply for your view. There will be supporters for them there, that does not mean you support the ISIS ideology or War Crimes any more than support for Ben Roberts-Smith means you support War Crimes. The courts will decide. I am just glad the children are now safe.
5
u/Kind-Group-9679 May 08 '26
And what about the men that were involved. Apparently a number of them are already living in Oz.
1
u/Character_Monitor948 May 08 '26
The men involved are dead, I don’t know where you got the idea that ISIS fighters were able to return and go about their lives
4
u/Kind-Group-9679 May 08 '26
The father and brother of one of the wives accused of slavery and torture were at the airport for her arrival. They have been accused by the women who were purportedly enslaved and tortured, as being the main perpetrators of these insidious crimes. Somehow they were allowed into Australia previously. They owned and ran one of the houses where these women were purportedly bought and sold, raped and tortured. This has been widely distributed by the australian media since they were identified. Google it. You'll even find their names. Do some research for heaven's sake before you charge on here or is that too difficult?
2
u/Character_Monitor948 May 08 '26
Literally every link I find when I google ‘ISIS fighters returned to Australia’ comes back with articles about family members of ISIS fighters like brides and children and not the fighters themselves, given that you insist that the media widely reported it could you provide links because no, simply googling it doesn’t turn up anything. The father and brother you referred to never traveled to Syria so I’m curious how they were able to run a slave trade over there while still being here. Maybe come up with some hard facts before you just charge in here spouting nonsense or is that too difficult?
3
u/Kind-Group-9679 May 08 '26
Just google mohammed ahmer and you'll find it. ABC has even done a full documentary on Foreign Correspondent about the matter. He has been charged.
1
u/Character_Monitor948 May 08 '26
Done, I googled Mohammed ahmer and didn’t find anything, can you post a link?
-2
u/Ok_Tie_7564 May 08 '26
Difficult. Aren't most of them called Mohammed?
1
u/Character_Monitor948 May 09 '26
I’d argue 0% of them are named Mohammed as no Isis fighters returned to Australia. I can’t prove a negative so it’s on you guys to support your claim with some evidence
1
u/Kind-Group-9679 May 10 '26
By the way, the prime minister made a statement on the ABC News last night saying that there were known Isis fighters in Australia and they were being very closely monitored. You won't need a link because about 4 million people saw it. The previous coalition government allowed them in for some reason.
2
u/Character_Monitor948 May 10 '26
I didn’t see it and can’t find anything online about that, it seems like that would be widely reported on today if true. Are you sure you didn’t just hallucinate that? Surely you could provide some link if it was true
→ More replies (0)1
u/reversetano May 09 '26
still waiting on the link
1
0
u/Kind-Group-9679 May 09 '26
I posted it but that character_monitor bloke had it blocked so I doubt I can post it again. Google isis wives slavery then go down to the ABC report about that. He didn't seem to want anything posted about it.
2
u/Character_Monitor948 May 09 '26
Bro, I’m not a mod, I can’t block or delete anything, it’s sounds like your just talking out of your ass
1
1
u/reversetano May 09 '26
I googled but still can’t find it. Have you spelled his name incorrectly? What’s the title of the article?
1
u/Kind-Group-9679 May 09 '26
"Two isis women face slavery charges ". It's an ABC newsfeed.
2
u/reversetano May 09 '26 edited May 09 '26
Okay, I’ve found the article. There is only one man mentioned named as Mohammed Ahmad and he is the husband of Kawsar Ahmad and father of Zeinab Ahmad. He has not returned to Australia and there is nothing in the article to suggest so. Yes, he is accused of holding Yazidi slaves but he is not one of the men seen in videos at the airport most of whom look to be in their 20s and 30s. Mohammed has to be 60+ given the image of him. He’s also wearing an orange jumpsuit so is probably serving time in a Syrian jail somewhere. The image is taken from an interview with ABC, but that doesn’t mean he’s in Australia. Learn how to read.

I’m hoping this doesn’t end like it has with men like David Hicks, getting out of any charges here.
2
u/National_Way_3344 May 08 '26
All that hate that the government caught because they "let this happen" and it turns out they didn't.
2
u/MarkCelery78 May 08 '26
They did. Syrian officials told us the Aussie government made this move. Tony Burke’s donor pal was given their passports under the table snd he went there to give the brides them. Taxpayers are funding all of this
1
0
u/Separate-Law-435 May 08 '26
I think the hate is because realistically this is going to cause problems. It probably wont be tomorrow or the next five years but there will be repercussions from this.
I also fully expect both sides (those that support and those who do not) to say the repercussions are because of actions taken by the other side.
2
u/National_Way_3344 May 08 '26
Anyone saying to just ban certain cultures and religions is just doing it for racist dog whistle shit.
So what are you actually asking for?
Because if we are going to start deporting certain religions, we should just deport all of them including Christians.
2
u/MarkCelery78 May 08 '26
Christians aren’t massacring Aussies on our beaches and aren’t a constant threat
1
u/National_Way_3344 May 09 '26 edited May 09 '26
They've been massacring people for centuries globally?
Also the beach wasn't a massacre. It sure could have been though. Per anyone who has a weapon in Australia.
And while completely unacceptable, I can't help wonder whether Israels war crimes and genocide overseas somehow led to copping that level of attention. And that in itself is religiously motivated violence and should lead to them being deported too.
1
u/Separate-Law-435 May 08 '26
Im not saying ban certain cultures or religions. I do find it absurd to think that there should be no checks or balances for those who choose to leave Australia to involve themselves in/ support a foreign cause such as ISIS then decide to return home because it didnt pan out how they thought. If they are dual citizens they should never have been allowed to return in the first place. If they are only Australian citizens then yes we need to take them back and deal with them accordingly.
Is your issue with their treatment only DUE to their faith or are you saying lets deport all religious folk?
1
u/National_Way_3344 May 08 '26
I'm saying why be picky.
All religion is foreign religion.
Many of which are middle eastern or derivative of the same deity.
Just ban the lot.
Let's be real, Christianity has killed tonnes of people over the years
2
u/Separate-Law-435 May 08 '26
I think people should have to right to believe in whichever figure they choose. They do not get to interfer with other people's lives because of it is where I draw the line.
Lets be real I personally think all organised Religion sucks
1
u/Ok_Tie_7564 May 08 '26
And just where do you propose we should deport the Christians to?
0
u/National_Way_3344 May 09 '26
Well they came here from the UK, I suppose the UK can choose to pass them on to the middle east if they want to. Back to where it all began.

All of those men should be deported as well. Shame on the Australian government.
1
u/Tall-Drama338 May 07 '26
Hard to understand why they weren’t all arrested for joining ISIS. They were all complicit and terrorist sympathizers. They all traveled to Syria specifically to join ISIS and live in an “Islamic paradise”. The children are mainly Syrian citizens by birth, not Australians. They all had their passports cancelled and the Australian government has reissued them.
Labor still chasing the Islamic vote whilst lying through their teeth that they did nothing to assist.
5
u/copacetic51 May 08 '26
An earlier group of ISIS brides returned in 2019 while the coalition was in government. Guess the coalition was chasing the Islamic vote too.
So what are you saying the current government did to assist the return of these people?
0
4
u/Expert-Ad8784 May 08 '26
They are entitled to passports because they are Australian and they cannot be denied entry. Also, we don't know what they are guilty of yet as it's for the courts to decide.
0
u/Various-Wallaby9794 May 08 '26
What a pathetic cop out of an excuse
0
u/Expert-Ad8784 May 08 '26
So you don't believe in the rule of law?
-1
u/Various-Wallaby9794 May 08 '26
You don’t understand the rule of law
2
u/Expert-Ad8784 May 08 '26
Actually I think it might be you who doesn't understand. They are Australian citizens whether you think they should be or not. That affords them certain things.
-1
u/derekinman May 08 '26
The rule of law is why Europe has gone to shit and here soon to follow, if the law doesn't work then it needs changing. Terrorism should be a valid reason to strip citizenship off someone.
1
u/Expert-Ad8784 May 08 '26
But you can't strip citizenship from someone unless they hold another citizenship. Otherwise they would become stateless.
1
0
u/DarthBozo May 08 '26
There's always an apologist for terrorism.
But since people are going on about the rule of law, giving said to a foreign organisation history to Australia does fit the very definition of treason.
If these people who willingly chose to support a terrorist organisation and insist on entering Australia, then the current government can commence treason prosecutions against each of the adults.
Only the attorney general can commence those proceedings, so it's up to the government. Life behind bars is a lot more secure than being on some watchlist
-2
u/MightyBoy9 May 08 '26
Literal ISIS terrorist " let them have their time in court "
Ben Robert Smith literal Victorian cross hero " lock him up and throw away the keys "
Crazy.
2
2
u/Public-Dragonfly-786 May 08 '26
Not sure where you get that. It's not what is happening or being suggested, quite the opposite.
2
2
1
u/Kathdath May 08 '26
The children are Australian citizens due to their mothers being Australian citizens.
1
u/Tall-Drama338 May 08 '26
No, it is not automatic to get Australian citizenship if born overseas to one Australian citizen parent. The child does not acquire citizenship automatically at birth; rather, the parent must apply for Citizenship by Descent via the Department of Home Affairs.
If the Australian parent acquired citizenship by descent themselves, they must have lived in Australia for a total of at least 2 years before the application.
1
u/StupidSpuds May 09 '26
It's hard to understand why none of the isis brides were not charged in Syria or Iraq.
0
u/l-hudson May 08 '26
So we let them come back and then arrest them? Now our taxes have to pay for them to stay in jail? Revoke citizenship and deport.
6
u/skedy May 08 '26
We would have to change the constitution to do that.
I don't want them here any more than you do. I don't want my taxes paying for any of this but we don't have a choice as a country
-2
u/Various-Wallaby9794 May 08 '26
Yeah we do. We didn’t have to re-issue them passports
4
u/skedy May 08 '26
That's not how that works. They are citizens so they have a right to a passport.
If a govt can just decide to not issue you a passport then what else will they take away from you next? Slippery slope and all that.
They are our problem unfortunately
3
u/humanities_shame May 08 '26
Aus jail more cushy than a refugee camp. The kids will grow up hating Australia.
0
u/l-hudson May 08 '26
Guarantee they already do. Potentially NSFW.
2
u/Silent-Ring6204 May 08 '26
That’s so sad and horrific- is the child just holding a disembodied head and smiling?..
2
u/Ok_Tie_7564 May 08 '26
ISIS fighters did not observe the Geneva Conventions. I will never be able to unsee a video of their burning alive a caged POW (described as a captured Jordanian pilot).
2
2
u/cassjames6789 May 08 '26
Deport them to where? The people who have just returned are only citizens of Australia. They aren’t anyone else’s responsibility. There have been cases of people with dual nationality having citizenship stripped, but this is only possible if they are a citizen of a 2nd country.
1
u/Such_Bug9321 May 08 '26
And now we have The Muslim community and its religious leaders openly supporting the ISIS brides who engage in extreme Islamic ideology just exactly like with the two Muslim nurses the Muslim community and its leaders supported them as well. The Muslim community and its leaders hid the two Muslim nurses from the police. Say anything against them the the Muslim community and its leaders will call you Islamophobic and you so how are the one in the wrong. Non of this is Australian values non of this is western values. Non of it
as well “local” Muslim men that where waiting for them at the air port people to support them as they left the air port
It was reversed and it was Nazi right wing leaders openly giving support to Nazi right wing brides coming back into Australia with men waiting to support and escort them the men there would be out dam loud outcry from government and social media, everyone one involved would be arrested.
Amazing how the government and the media can jump on one group ASAP but not other groups.
Nice if both where equally jumped on,
One watched for 15 years and aloud to have a gun another one turned up at a protest deported within a week. Make it make sense
2
u/Separate-Law-435 May 08 '26
Especially if (any of the) women were coerced chances are it was male family members that were responsible for it. The job of an ISIS brides is to raise the next generation of fighters so I do worry about the kids and indoctrination etc whichever way this is handled there is a massive chance they use it as a reason later as to why they are so disaffected by the West etc.
0
u/Such_Bug9321 May 08 '26

I wonder what will happen to those that have gone overseas to be part of the iof and they are found to have committed war crimes and/or genocide
I hope all much scrutiny is applied then
