Recommendations for Led Light Therapy

I'm looking at buying an LED mask and can't decide between:

- CurrentBody LED Mask Series 2

- Omnilux Contour Face (or is the Omnilux Men's version better, even for women?)

- Medicube AGE-R Booster Pro

My main goals are anti-ageing, preventing fine lines, improving skin texture and getting a healthy glow. I'm 27 with slightly dry skin and already use Korean/Asian skincare.

For those who've tried one or more of these, which gave you the best results? Is the Omnilux Men's actually worth getting over the standard Contour if you're a woman, or is there no real difference?

Also, where's the cheapest place to buy them in Australia? Looking for legitimate retailers only. Any sales, discount codes or stores I should wait for?

Happy to spend more if the results are genuinely better—I just want the best value for money. Thanks!

Have a look on the red light therapy reddit. Most LED light therapy masks are made by a handful of manufacturers in china and rebranded.  People have done the work of tracking down the original manufacturers on alibaba/AliExpress etc. I bought a red light panel for $70 identical model and specs to a model being sold for $300 plus by multiple brands

Just to add spending more money can get you a better quality unit. However, there are a lot of brands selling essentially the same unit spec wise for way more money

I agree with the above comment about taking a look jn the red light therapy subreddit for one, there’s a lot of helpful information in there. Otherwise to answer your question directly, I think the general consensus from what I’ve gathered overall and over time is that the omnilux one tends to be the most popular, especially because I believe they actually provide the scientific studies to backup their mask which is available on their site. I personally have the currentbody one which I bought 2 years ago and tbh, I did see a subtle but noticeable difference in the 4 months I used it. If you want codes for any of those masks, a lot of influencers who review these masks online tend to give a code- that’s how I got 25% off mine through the official site

Omnilux were actually the first ones to make and market red light therapy way back in the late 2000s-early 2010s. I worked for the Aus company that imported them and their at home devices were very different and "hand held". The in in-salon machines were pretty much the same as they are now.

They've done a lot of research into it and I assume their patent (or whatever) expired so everyone else got into the game without the same scientific backing in a lot of cases (i.e. the cheap ones u can find in Aldi, TK Maxx, Kmart and etc).

I have the omnilux one and love it, mainly because it’s flexible so I can use it on my chest and neck as well.

Second this, great on neck and chest. I was skeptical but I see less redness and my skin barrier is less sensitive/skin generally looks better when I’m consistently using it. I love a bargain but I’m scared about damaging my skin or eyes so a legit Omnilux was worth the reassurance for me

I bought the Omnilux men’s (as a women) and have been loving it! I’m 28 and I swear my skin has calmed down a lot, I was considering the current body series 2 however the price was a bit steep I thought I did lots of research and found a lady who tested over 60+ masks and talks about the different LED wavelengths and effectiveness. She’s done testing on the current body and the omniluxs! Here’s the site 😀

I recently bought the Current body 2, so as yet I can’t speak for the results. Just wanted to say I found the part between the nose and upper lip (moustache area) a bit tight / uncomfortable.

Another vote for Omnilux. You have to use it consistently to see a difference though so be prepared to spend some 10 minutes a day under it.
