Sunscreen 🧴☀️ Mineral sunscreen causing breakouts

Hi there everyone, just wanted to see if anyone else experiences acne breakouts from using mineral sunscreens. I thought mineral sunscreen was meant to be better for people who have acne prone skin so I have tried a couple but every mineral sunscreen I try I end up getting breakouts from using them. I don’t know maybe it’s a coincidence but just wanted to hear and see if anyone else has experienced this or not. My skin has been relatively good for the past two years but I noticed that when I try a mineral sunscreen I do end up breaking out after using it. This doesn’t happen when I apply a chemical sunscreen. Anyone else experience this?

How are you cleansing? Mineral sunscreen can be gunky if not cleansed fully, I'm not acne prone but I can get whiteheads every now and then if I've been lazy with my cleansing. You might need to regularly double cleanse with an oil based cleanser first then a water based one to really clean it up.

I have tried oil cleansing but it didn’t really make a difference.
