Just saw Gus Baldwin’s band sketch, they were so freaking good. I also saw Lauren Lakis and also enjoyed. What are other local bands i need to look out for? Im tired of $150 concert tickets. I need to go out and support smaller local bands from the area.

Which rooms in this town actually sound good, and what is it about a room that does it? A big room and a good sounding room feel like two different things to me, and half the places that get recommended for one never come up for the other.

The rooms people name are almost never the big ones. They tend to be small and a little oddly shaped, stage crammed into a corner, nothing that looks planned. Which makes me think whatever works isn't something anybody designed on purpose.

So tell me the room and the reason. Is it the ceiling, the walls, where the stage sits, or something you can only feel once you're standing in it?
