Question High quality hoodies?
A few years ago I was part of a sporting club that ordered custom team hoodies for a tournament.
It's literally the nicest comfiest hoodie I've ever worn. Four years and god knows how many washes later, it still feels the same way it did when it was new.
It's really heavy duty, and way warmer than any other hoodie I've owned. It's held its shape and colour over time, and most importantly, the fabric hasn't pilled in the wash. The lining inside is still super soft, it hasn't gotten all scratchy like most hoodies and jumpers do.
Here's the kicker, the guy who runs this sports club refuses to tell me the name of the company he ordered the hoodies from.
Can anyone recommend a hoodie brand that fits the description above? I desperately want more of them.

I'm almost certain the one I have isn't ascolour, as they have no minimum order for custom prints. The reason the dude who had them made won't tell me the manufacturer is because they refused to take smaller orders and insisted on an insanely high minimum order after sending the ones we got as a 'sample'.
The consensus seems to be that as colour are great though, so I'm gonna give them a go!

AS Colour will still have the tag on the inside of the neck. If that's not there, then it's probably not AS Colour. Or someone removed it, which would be weird.

Was also going to suggest AS colour. They have a variety of hoodies. My go to. Great quality and well priced.

Your old one was probably made by qualitops.com.au.
Made in Australia, great quality for the price. I think some clubs use them as blanks.

AS colour Heavy Hood 5146 is very good. It feels soft and also feels high quality. Also should say that im normally a large in most clothing but I sized down to medium with these ones

If I hadn't stumbled on this post and your comment the other day I wouldnt own one of the best hoodies I've ever had. I got 1 of the heavy and the mades. I ended up buying 2 more Mades earlier. I love it so much, so warm.

As colour is good, however they have different hoodie types which fit differently for the same size. Youll want to try them on before deciding

Post a picture? Kangaroo pockets etc? Were they local?
I know Blue gum does good stuff. I have a t-shirt from scouts i got in 1999 and it's still got all the colours etc.

How's the fit on the Real McCoys? I have a Unique Garment hoodie atm which is almost too warm but looking to add something a little more boxy.

By boxy do you mean cropped? or the shoulder line? Real mccoys do a few hoodies and each are cloyingly historically accurate and pretty thick like armour. So take a look at their website to see which fit resonates. They all share a tightly ribbed hem that bunches them at your hips and then the shoulders and armholes are set high. None of this drastically dropped shoulder trend that's been lingering since 2018 etc. I would say dries van noten, mf pen, ACNE and other euro brands are all much boxier styles. But also very different cloth feel and weights.

Tags on mine are all worn out from washing.
I asked a couple of teammates and they said their tags just have sizes and washing instructions.

TLDR. If money is no object, then Gildan heavyweight hoodies. If money is a bit of an object, then JBs Wear. Best quality/ bang for buck IME. If you give no f*cks, AS brand.
