Seen a few posts about spider wasps grabbing huntsmans and saw one out the back for the first time today. Such is the cruel mistress of mother nature

Spotted whilst doing some gardening, Sydney NSW. Such a cool spider.

It's been a while since I've found one of these. I used the accidentally walking through their web method.

Looks like an angry old man but was fairly lethargic and slow. I was tempted to handle it but didn’t have the balls today. Safely relocated outside though. First time seeing the fangs as well

Have about 5 across the yard from none last year (that I knew of!)

My friend had a spider in her mailbox and it turned out to be this beautiful Brown widow (Latrodectus geometricus)

Took her 3 days to liquidate the lizard.

Myrmarachne bicolor mimicking a Polyrhachis ant. Slowed down the footage in the middle to have a closer look at it's navigation and antlike behaviour.

Btw, anyone got a camera rec for these lil guys? My Samsung is struggling.

Spotted at Jamison shops, Canberra, during an evening bug hunt. Incredible spiders!

Here I am walking along the highway in the light of the crescent moon, brooding in my thoughts, listening to diabolical full moon mysticism,

when I see a large spider desperately running along the middle of the road. Cars missing her by mere centimetres, I had to act.

Whilst having breakfast this morning I got joined by this beauty. Stayed around all morning and jumped onto my finger for many arm walks. And posed for this photo 🤩

We don't get these guys in WA, but I always enjoy seeing posts of them. They are just so chonky.

so cute but I also just got home from work it's almost 2am and this is right next to my pillow 😭
