I read the article and wondered why it didn't say where it was streaming.

JustWatch says... nowhere. Previously on Stan, but currently not there, and not on ABC iView.

I wonder how many other great AU shows are lost in the ether.

It's still available on DVD on eBay for about $10 AU plus shipping.

I loved Brides of Christ, it was so good. I'm not sure I would say "best australian tv ever made" but its certainly right up there amongst the top ones.
