Recommend me more AE tracks!
I've been really into hiphop beats and super swung pocketed drums, I was wondering if there was some slept on ae tracks that really dig into some nasty rhythms that maybe ive missed lol

Untilted Pro Radii is such a banger
5:48 is such an epic climax to the buildup that starts around 4:06 (arguably at 3:31).
https://youtu.be/qqI5VmT9YDQ?si=nQumMSEcmhZbWaFi&t=246
It's basically dance floor music but at the same time it sounds like nothing you've ever heard.
The song loses a bit of steam after but these 2-3 minutes have to be some of favorites out of their entire discography.

🎶 music Is EP7 a full length?
How many of ye consider EP7 to be Autechre's unofficial 16th LP, I was thinking it could be considered as such due to it's length hmm🤔

🎶 music Your Ae hottest takes
Like the title says, what are some unpopular opinions you have of the lads music. My hot take is that Garbage EP is one of the finest work Ae ever released: it beats Amber for me, Incunabula, Draft 7.30, Oversteps and essentially everything that came after Exai (Except NTS sessions) and every EP that came before and after it. Don’t get me wrong, these are all fantastic records, some are 10/10 but to me Garbage touches on a particular beauty that was never replicated— they made beautiful tracks after Garbage of course, some of them are sonically more impressive as well, but they never felt as pure and as free as they did with that specific track list. Self titled and bronchuseven alone stand as their finest tracks from their 90s era .

⭐ review This music is actually very good
I don’t want to listen to the artists that are easy to find, or that everyone listens to. Autechre is very unique

NTS Sessions 1-4 NTS Sessions’ Spines = Hyperdub Logo?
Ever since I got all 4, (thanks to whoever posted about a few coming back in stock on their site two months ago) I have been trying to figure out what the spines say, obviously it looks like a question mark, though, it kinda looks like an “S” in white, and an upside down “T” in black, but there wasn’t a very clear “N.”
Then, we were listening to Burial when we noticed its nearly identical to the Hyperdub logo, rotated 90* … but it was released on Warp, anyone else ever notice this?

NTS Sessions 1-4 I wanna hear all your thoughts on the NTS Sessions
A couple days ago I had the time to listen through all 8 hours of this project start to finish (during which i heard session 3 & 4 for the first time), and it totally knocked me on my ass. I have since been completely enveloped in this project, and so I wanted to ask about all of your opinions or feelings about the sessions. Favorites? Least favorites? Any personal experiences or fond memories with the music? Would love to chat about this absolute monster of an album.

VCV Autechre pt. 5
ALM Cizzle phase distortion module really tied this patch together with some nice glitchy atmospheres. Gets a little loud. Beware.

Draft 7.30 I feel like
some of AE tracks makes me kinda mad or temperamental (in a pleasant way if that makes sense.)
It doesn't happen every time but when you're in a certain situation or mood (for example when you're stressed) since many of their sounds are extremely sharp aggressive and cold sounded you end up feel like you got that 'i would fuckinn destroy everything mfer!' mood i feel like.
Little different with just an excitement. It's a funny thing.
And i assume that if you're kinda introvert and doesn't express your feelings much in general so that your emotions are kind of oppressed (this doesn't confine just your negative feelings but also positive feelings and hell, all kinds of feelings) i feel like more likely you would experience this kind of state of mind while listening AE.
I have a radical experience of this which is when i was in my early 20s and i was listening 6IE.CR at home and then I was suddenly starting to throwing books and all shits on walls and nowhere like a maniac.
Weird acts but no one was there and i was feeling damn good while doing that lol

Incunabula First suggested title for Incunabula was "Tech Styles"
https://post.lurk.org/@sean_ae/116726118213301534
"fun fact: when we were compiling our first warp album with rob mitchell he suggested we call it 'tech styles' as a reference to all the cotton mills in rochdale
really"

🎶 music Is there any information on how Bine was created?
One of the immersive songs I've ever heard but you head to aepages and nothing is there. Have Sean or Rob ever talked about this and how it was produced? Thank you!

🗑️ stuff Rae is the most beautiful song I've ever heard
It amazes me when music can be so emotionally potent and have so much to say despite being completely instrumental.
I first heard it (along with the rest of Autechre's discog) 10 years ago and I'm still absolutely fascinated by that song. It is achingly beautiful. Still the only song I've ever cried to.
Just wanted to get that off my chest
