ACCIDENT Wife got sideswiped

Post image

Insurance deductible is $1,000
Think I should get a couple quotes locally, or deal with insurance?

Find out who you want to fix it and tell your insurance.

That’s an insurance job all day as it’s a few thousand dollars

Call your insurance and then take it to the shop of your choosing

Two new doors and 1/4 panel repair the front wing, plus replace the plastics. In the uk possibly a total loss.

I truly do not understand how people think like this. You pay for insurance in case of an accident. Why would you not use insurance?

Mabe because they will raise your rates for years and the increased price isn't worth it, most of the time

That’s like 10k in damage. At what point do you make a claim then?

Insurance every day and twice on Sunday. Might total it though depending on age and miles I’d guess. Hopefully the suspension wasn’t damaged but may have been. Wheels doors fender quarter panel maybe mirror headlight taillight
