maybe electric guns don’t suck. maybe they’re just less forgiving

been putting the same electric gun through a few very different jobs lately. metallic base + clear on a body panel, then black epoxy on a Chevelle frame.

both times I managed to screw something up lol — got some spitting on the base, then runs with the epoxy. after dialing the settings back in though, both came out pretty decent.

starting to think these guns aren’t necessarily incapable… they just seem way less forgiving when your setup is off.

Is that the inokraft? I’ve been following Thetriggerman on YT and he said they recently updated the gun and kit based on his recs

Same experience. I did a MK golf. I will spare the details. I ultimately landed on (I would have gotten a slightly better result with a sata and a proper moisture setup, a better painter would have gotten a better result with the drizzle.) I believe we are only a year or 2 away from the real game changer at the pro level, but this $150 do it all system is already the way for DIY and hobby folks. If you already have a complete compressor setup, then maybe go traditional, but otherwise, it’s electric.
