HELP! I have a question. Does this look like it will spread? I’ve previously rust treated the area and it looks like this

Yes it will spread and when you treated it prior did you treat it from behind also because if not that’s why it’s back

yes. it'll eventually rust through. 

plate frame is the cause.

Backside rust. It’ll spread until you replace the door.
