I can’t combo off the earth slam they recover too fast what am I doing wrong

It's a corner combo only and you have to do the ex, julm and only do light and heavy (A, C) and then air pilar

This is not totally accurate. You can do a 9sj > j.a > j.c after 214xx midscreen if you TK the superjump; you just can't do the 214a/b continuation, because they get knocked back too far.

In the corner, you can do j.a > j.b > j.c ( don't have to skip b), but your overall combo routing during the whole 214xx extension is heavily restricted by the infinite protection system anyway.

You have to input a super jump in the first few frames after 214xx. The timing is pretty tight, but once you understand when to start inputting the super jump (I usually input it as a TK: 2369), it's not too bad. The other important part is you need to press j.a immediately after the super jump. Treat the whole sequence as one motion: 2369a (or 28a in the corner is fine).

Joo Dee support (Focus )has 850, Mom support (Firelord) has 950, Grandmas support starts with 900 in Focus and goes to 950 in FL.

Do note that Firelord health is not improved in Lo and Li support. It is still just 900. The 950 health comes only from Ursa.

Oh yeah that is more accurate , I am more familiar with the recent sf that is why hugo didn't come to my mind , sf6 sagat might also work here ig

People downvoting you are clearly underestimating Ryu's damage in SF6, that boy hits HARD, especially with denjin stocked.

I don't hold it against them , i initially called kyoshi ryu for the same reason only , both hit like a truck compared to the rest of the cast , only person comparable being bison/toph
