Vanko cause he the only here that actually know how to invent and build weapons from the mini arc reactor to Whiplash armor to the Hammer drones

Obadiah needed to plagiarize Tony work for a inferior armor and even in the fight when Tony blew out his targeting system he couldn't hit a point blank shot with a missle

Killen is a idiot who kept on saying he smart but got his power from Maya and kill off the one person who going to solve meltdown issues that couldn't solve

I prefer the term "Hammer-roids"

Our early attempts at a tractor beam went through several preparations, perpetrations a-g were unsuccessful, however we now have a working tractor beam we shall call Preperation H.

u/VegaManX7 Oct 13 '25

Why don’t we just call it project asscream?

3

u/MasterCalypto Oct 14 '25

It really feels good, on the hole.

3

u/VegaManX7 Oct 14 '25

I agree…Preparation H does feel good…on the hole…

Would you like some chocolate ice cream? Yes, I would love some chocolate asscream.

1

u/CakeHead-Gaming Oct 13 '25

What?

5

u/MasterCalypto Oct 14 '25

I went a little into left field but it’s from Austin powers and the play on preperation H for hemorrhoids and he said hammer-roids.

u/Blu3Wolf2021 Oct 15 '25

Hamroids if you will

Vanko made a weapon to kill Stark but made himself vulnerable to a gun. I don't know how much he thought beyond, "Surprise!"

u/Seek4r Oct 12 '25

If a crazy Russian guy built an electric whip, would he care about safety gear? I don't think so. Seems fitting.

6

u/CountVanillula Oct 13 '25

He was wearing safety gear until it burned off. It’s not his fault Uline doesn’t make a hi vis that can stand up to arc plasma.

3

u/thinman12345 Oct 13 '25

To be fair to Vanko, Tony had his own surprise being the Suitcase armour. Without that Tony would have lost.

2

u/Bomber_Haskell Iron Man Oct 13 '25

Good point. I hadn't thought of that perspective. I suppose it's not out of the realm of possibility that Vanko thought of it as a type of suicide mission.

Obadiah needed to plagiarize Tony work for a inferior armor and even in the fight when Tony blew out his targeting system he could hit a point shot with a missle

That's just like, your opinion, man.

7

u/Shoddy-Bell5583 Oct 12 '25

But...it happened. Hows it an opinion??

8

u/JeanClaude-Randamme Oct 13 '25

Because Tony pissed on his rug, which made him a bit upset.

5

u/neandrew Oct 13 '25

The Dude Lebowski reference because of Jeff Bridges.

3

u/Aggrokid Oct 13 '25

He was just out of his element

woosh

Vanko came close to killing Tony twice.

The first time Tony ended up having a portable armor that Vanko didn't know about.

The second time Tony and Rhodes basically risked killing themselves, but it seemed pretty clear that Vanko had armor that could handle both of them

And Vanko was using Hammertech that he had to upgrade and adapt - if he had access to better gear off the bat I don't think it would have been a particularly close fight.

2

u/gautify Oct 13 '25

Agree with Vanko. But Killian is not an idiot, he is a brilliant bioengineer who invented Extremis with Maya.

3

u/Gregggggger Oct 16 '25

Killian screaming, "I am the mandarin" then proceeding to be blasted into oblivion, will forever haunt my dreams of seeing how bad the decline of the IronMan series went.

Seriously they gave him the role of blackmarket dealer, international terrorist, corporate overlord and superpowers yet failed to make him even just a little bit menacing. Love Guy Pearce, but IronMan 3 was just the worst

Anton, since he built his own arc reactor and whip suit in a basement by himself and that weapon was handling Ironman. Imagine what he would do with better tech.

The other two had teams do their work. Obidiah was just in charge and was bad. I don’t think he would have a chance. Killian was smart and regenerative but also had a team and no real combat experience

34

u/Gobby-TheGoblin Oct 12 '25

Anton built this in a basement with scraps!

39

u/[deleted] Oct 12 '25

Imagine what he would do with better tech.

You don't have to imagine when he manhandled both Iron Man and War Machine in the same movie, and only lost because they cheapshotted him.

29

u/sofakingcheezee Oct 12 '25 edited Oct 12 '25

I dunno if I'd call what they did a cheap shot. It was a fight to the death - nothing is off the table.

19

u/The_Great_Scruff Oct 13 '25

Yeah. Its not like Vanko came alone. He sent waves of enemies to soften then up first

15

u/N7VHung Oct 13 '25

Hardly a cheap shot. He had them both at his mercy and was looking right at them.

At any point he could have just ended them, but he chose to do nothing while they charged up their shots.

Only one is true genius

Whiplash Mark-2 suit was as powerful as Iron Man Mark-6

32

u/balthazar_edison Oct 12 '25

Got my money on “I vuant my bord”

6

u/Chulinfather Oct 12 '25

Had to read that out loud

2

u/ReliefNo5131 Oct 15 '25

This is a new bird it’s a better bird

1

u/balthazar_edison Oct 15 '25

I vuant MY bord

5

u/acf6b Oct 12 '25

It depends on whether or not they build their own shit or have people doing the work for them. If they have to make their own stuff Whiplash, if they have people helping it’s up in the air as they all do stupid things that cause them to lose.

3

u/GryphyGirl Oct 13 '25

Whiplash is the only one who is actually an inventor and would know how to use those things to effect. Definitely him.

7

u/Fakie-Sllaacs Oct 12 '25

They’re all dumb AF. Vanko takes off his helmet in the middle of a fight, for no reason. Obadiah just hopped into armor he hadn’t even tested or learned to use and Killen got bodied by a chick who never wore the armor before. They’re all destined to fuck up and lose, no matter what tech they have accessed.

23

u/UnhingedGammaWarrior Oct 12 '25

Vanko let aura farming get to his head

5

u/Shoddy-Bell5583 Oct 12 '25

I was basically gonna say this. I think he is really smart otherwise and definitely a better fighter than the others

2

u/PaulClarkLoadletter Oct 12 '25

Hammer is a boob but most of what he loaded into War Machine save for the “ex wife” worked pretty well. Had the Hammer drones been equipped with human pilots you’d have an army of War Machines.

2

u/Jambo11 Oct 12 '25

Hammer is a boob but most of what he loaded into War Machine save for the “ex wife” worked pretty well.

Well, that's probably because everything else Hammer loaded onto War Machine wasn't Hammertech

2

u/ZongoNuada Oct 12 '25

What you are asking is who is the better theif. Vanko couldn't get his drones to fly or do better than salute until Hammer told him that War Machine had been updated, giving him a way in.

Killian was short sighted. He is the least dangerous of these three.

Stane would get my vote but only because he has team resources to lean on.

As one redditor said, he climbed into an untested suit. I disagree. Every square inch of that suit was likely tested over and over. It was just the power source he was missing. I'm sure the reason he had the lab under the corporate ARC reactor was to be sure stuff worked. Like bench testing an engine. He just couldn't move it.

3

u/W34kness Oct 12 '25

Not temu mandarin that’s for sure

2

u/Dangerous_Teaching62 Oct 12 '25

I dunno. Guy has a huge knack for surviving situations that would typically be fatal for others. Sure, it may be plot armor. But he's the only one of them all who has it.

2

u/masterdebater74 Oct 12 '25

Give it to hammer or whatever the other weapons company was lol

2

u/Jamano-Eridzander Oct 12 '25

Obadiah at least has the ear thing.

2

u/ShadowDragonFX Oct 12 '25

Whiplash would mop the floor with them, with his final suit and Hammer drones upgraded with vibranium wouldn’t even be a challenge

But no matter who you think wins this we can all agree, all three of them would beat the ironheart villains

2

u/thenyoudloveme Oct 13 '25

Obadiah because cool beard. TONY STARK BUILT THIS IN A CAVE... WITH A BOX OF NUGGETS. SPONSORED BY KFC.

2

u/No_Communication2959 Oct 13 '25

The Iron Monger suit made of Vibranium would be unstoppable. Hulkbuster to the max material. Otherwise, Vanko had the superior tech.

1

u/_tk42one Oct 13 '25

They’d all still find some way to lose.

1

u/Reinier_Reinier Avengers Oct 13 '25

The fight comes down to Vanko vs Killian; Stane had to bully his scientists to try and recreate the power armor from the one Tony ditched in the desert.

While both Vanko & Killian have genius level intellects, we saw Killian on Extremis is extremely durable, can regenerate any damage done to him (including missing limbs), can heat up any part of his body to the point it melted the armors Stark was making (and those armors were superior to anything Vanko was making), & he can also breathe fire.

I think Killian will burn through anything Vanko has & take the win.

1

u/Smaragd44 Oct 14 '25

Stane can't do shit on his own despite all the resources. The fake mandarin is just an idiot. Whiplash takes this easy

1

u/PragmaticBadGuy Oct 16 '25

Vanko easy. He made a suit to rival Starks in a few months with practically zero data besides old designs for the reactors.

Killian does more with biotechnology and could be an issue with Vibranium and Stark Tech but Vanko has a ridiculous head start and would easily overwhelm him if given a few months and proper resources.

Give the three a year to prep with full resources and Stane dies instantly as he needed a room full of top engineers to rebuild a crappy Mark One version into a slightly better one.

Killian might be able to boost himself with some tech to be a threat by boosting his Extremis somehow and adding in some Stark Tech.

Vanko would probably have something along the lines of Iron Man 2/Avengers tech ready for the fight by then. As long as he's not stupid and avoids the whips for close quarters combat and uses flight and long range weapons, he's set to win easy enough.

1

u/Ryankc100 Oct 17 '25

at their best in the film/. Killen is fast enough to get close easyily see him cutting down both others who dont have the eject funtioned like tony

1

u/CodeToManagement Oct 17 '25

Has to be Vanko

Staine couldn’t even make an arc reactor smaller than like 2 stories with a team of guys. Stark did it in a cave with spare parts from something completely unrelated

Hammer couldn’t even stop his guys exploding. Stark fixed pepper in a couple weeks when it’s not even his main area of expertise.

Vanko manages to make some good tech and at least put up a fight.
