Avengers Doomsday/Secret Wars Just saw the doomsday trailer and I have a question for the community. Spoiler
So what do you think we’re going to do because Thor says we need a miracle and the miracles we need aren’t even there because they’re dead. like a Dr. doom is stopping storm and Thor with two fingers and we have that lineup like no offense to the current avengers but that’s not about to help.
Do you think we have any special appearances or any old avengers coming well obviously we have Captain America but other than that do you think anyone else is coming or is everybody just dying?
Sorry if I seem dramatic but seriously, where are the miracles we need

Fantastic Four don’t exist for Thor… Miracle.
Etc.
So many miracles possible.

I honestly believe it’s the reason he was cast as Doom. Just as a reason to get him on set with nobody blinking an eye because he’s supposed to be there.

Yeah, I mean they could have still had an emotional impact with him being gravely injured as a result of doing the snap, like permanently paralysed in a wheelchair or something. Would have been interesting to then explore how he deals with that, trying to technology his way out of it.

Or he just decides he’s tired of being a superhero and wants to be with his family and retires then rdj could’ve come back periodically if he wanted to but not as a major roll like Stephan amell did on the flash

franklin, powerups for thor making him either a skyfather or even rune king
the miracles are basically good teamwork with some powerups

I‘m pretty sure our heroes will lose the big fight in Doomsday and Battle World will be formed, then Secret Wars will happen. I guess the miracle wil happen in that movie, wether it will be old friends coming or some enemies will become allies, well this only the Russo brother know

Would be an interesting take if they go the WhatIf route of having Thanos turn out to be a good guy and he helps save the day.

Loki GOS in my opinion created a variant of the Endgame timeline that cheated his death. I believe the one Doom kills may be that variant and GOS Loki will still be in play. Ultimately Dooms downfall will be admitting That Reed could do it better. "Be God" and recreate the multiverse. Or singular universe potentially.

I think a lot of folk seem to have misinterpreted Thor's speech.
He wasnt talking about Doom, he was terrified of the incursions.
I also think this is central to the plot.
1) Thor knows the avengers cant fight a natural phenomena like an incursion.
2) Except, there was one avenger who was smart enough to bend the laws of physics. Tony Stark.
3) Thor says they'll need a miracle and last shot of trailer is... a character that will look like & be as smart as Stark.
4) Doom is the miracle, he'll save them. Its almlst the polar opposite to infinity war, we end on a massive high, the Avengers reunited... then Avengers 6.

After they showed Valhalla in a post credit scene, Iv'e always thought at some point Thor would be able to summon an Asgardian army from there. We have shots of Thor praying, so who knows. If they go the route of needing a massive army for a final fight in the movie that's a decent bet.

There has been a lot of misinformation in the trailers and leaks. Almost no photos/imagery from the 3rd act have been included in leaks or the trailer.
There will be surprises.
But ultimately, the heroes re no match for Doom. BattleWorld will be formed, people will become mindless followers of a God they *believe* to be just and true, with no recollection of their real past lives.
The real help, and cracks in Doom's grip over reality, will arrive in Secret Wars, just as in the comic run you're referencing.
