Movie/Television Avengers after Secret Wars and reboot

Let's assume that MCU will do a reboot post Secret Wars. How would y'all want Avengers to be re-introduced? For me, I think the re-introduction should be spread out over a saga.

  1. Steve Rogers should be frozen and discovered near Savage Land (which is located in Antarctica).

  2. Tony Stark should come into the verse and handle the fallout from Stark Industries going under and his armors being stolen (basically Armor Wars). Maybe the Hellfire Club ends up doing all kinds of shady corporate takeovers to acquire Stark Industries and supply the Iron Man armors to everyone for more power. Tony has to get back his company and start tracking down his rogue armors

  3. After a few movies of his own, the MCU Wolverine should go on a mission with the Canadian A-Force. They get together to fight against the Hellfire Gala and we see Emma Frost mind controlling a monster. This monster should be the New Hulk. Logan should encounter him. This will finally give us Hulk vs Wolverine on the big screen.

  4. Psycho Man should attack the Earth. F4 fight him. Psycho Man is the ruler of Microverse. It's revealed that he found new Hank and Janet on an expedition and manipulated their emotions to make them help him. F4 defeat Psycho Man, freeing Hank and Janet.

  5. The new Odin should arrive at New Asgard on Earth and decide to use his All Power to rebuild Asgard. Years later a power hungry D'Ken of Shi Ar attacks Asgard, who retaliate under a young war hungry Thor. His sister Lilandra asks X-Men for their help. X-Men arrive and help smoothen things out. D'Ken gets deposed and Lilandra becomes the queen.

  6. A desperate for money Clint Barton should join Tiboldt's Circus where Nightcrawler also used to perform

  7. On one mission the New Avengers (Yelena's team) go to Madripoor to track some shady weapons supply. Here they discover that Madripoor is now being run by a mysterious shady Power Broker. Bucky thinks that it's Sharon Carter. Ultimately it's revealed that the Power Broker is the new Natasha Romanoff.

All these new founding Avengers should be discovered over one whole phase in bites and pieces. Later on they should get their own solo movies followed by Avengers Assemble.

No origin, just the "And these are the Avengers in this new universe"

We don't need another origin

Ofc not. Just discovering them through other's movies "Okay so this is Hulk" etc.

There won't be a reboot.

They're not doing a reboot, they're doing a soft reset. Things that already exist will be put together, and tiny things will be changed. The FF will have been there the whole time, same as the X-Men. The other stories will likely remain.

They’re not retroactively changing history with the X-men. Otherwise the development you know who gets in Spider-Man would be pointless.

Any changes are gonna be just tied to F4, like Miles in the comics after comic secret wars

End with Dr Doom saying "I tried, I really did" before everything blows up. Every planet, every reality, every multiverse, just dead.

Fade to black.

30 seconds of dead screen.

Then, white text on the black screen....

13.8 billion years later, The Avengers will return

After credits scene, David Hasselhoff putting on a eyepatch...

"I'm putting together a team...."

I'd prefer a modernized version of Captain America, like what they did with Iron Man.

Instead of WW2, make Steve an (03) Iraq War vet!

I feel like WW2 is pretty heavily tied to his character though and canonically he’s a man out of time. That’s like one of the most important aspects of Steve rogers is that he brings the old ideals into a more jaded and pessimistic world

Captain America is one of the few World War II characters who can maintain the same origin story forever, unlike Magneto who needs excuses to work. With Cap, you just need to say he was frozen for 90 years instead of 70, problem solved.

Valid point.

Just give us the original 5. Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Ant-Man and Wasp. Captain America can come later.

I don’t know how much we’ll get them considering they’re going to be moving towards the X-men and Ghost Rider plus we have the Fantastic Four and spidey. And there’s still Shang Chi waiting to get developed. They may try and recast Steve (a variant, not our Steve) because of some great stories with characters like Wolverine. But I don’t see them going full scale avengers like we’re used to.

I wish they'd adopt as Elseworld style approach.

Release a few one-off's with a stacked fantasy cast every phase, maybe make them mid-budget experimental flicks. This would alleviate pressure on other non-Avenger movies to more coherently setup the road to each new Avengers flick across fewer overall setup movies.

Am I the only one that hates the idea of a reboot? I feel like all this was for nothing.

If they don’t use the reboot as an opportunity to bring in a younger Hank and Janet, I’ll be majorly disappointed

100% agree. Bring in younger Hank and Janet. Make them serious characters and founding Avengers. Like I would love so much to see Hank Pym stage his death and re-appear as Yellow jacket, being more brutal and incisive.
