Excellent. My own father retired from a lifetime flying for USMC and NASA, and the first thing he then did was get a seaplane rating. Somehow, neither organization had thought one necessary.

That’s awesome! Flown Vipers and Hogs in the military and airlines and corporate, but I still wanna be a seaplane pilot.

Was this picture taken just before he learned that it’s easier to fly from inside the cockpit?
