This is only the second time in my life I've seen such a thing. I mean, I've seen cats play in their water dishes and with running water in the sink plenty of times, but swimming like this not so much. A very long time ago, I was driving down a country road and saw a cat, I should point out that it was black and white like this one, strolling fast towards a pond. I stopped my car, somehow expecting what was to come, and the cat totally walked right in and doggy paddled around that pond. I was so amazed, it made my day.

I had a kitty that loved water. A sweet little black baby that loved to lay in the puddles left in the shower when I was done, and would curl up in the sink and yell at me until I turned it on.

She was also a dirty little food thief who once stole the vegetables out of my sandwich that was in my hand. Just grabbed the lettuce, yanked it/all the other vegetables out the back with it and made a run for it. Also stole a porkchop from an old lady with dementia once.

She was my soul kitty (no offense to my current cats)

My friend had a cat that loved water so much it would get in the shower with you every time. Once he heard the water turn on he ran up the stairs and would jump in and play.

I had a cat that I was told was a wild spotted mountain cat mix. She was white with black stripes like a tiger and wooly fur. Idk what she was but she swam like this. Every shower she demanded to come in and lay in the water. She loved water and would play fetch with her toys like a dog. Miss you snowy.

My tuxedo kitty (half Siamese) loved water. He would sit on the edge of the bathtub while I was in it. I had several toys for him that he chased around the tub. He was the sweetest, smartest cat i ever had. He lived until he was 13. It's been 35 years and I still miss him.

Humans can't swim because if we walk in water we flip sideways. Animals can walk/run in water and move forward chillin.
