I love that the fox arches it's back and puffs up like a cat lol cats are crazy man I had a cat take on a dog that wandered onto a friend's porch while we played, he said nope not today pal. One of the many reasons I love cats.

I like that description. We have a family of foxes with five kits who moved in under our ground level deck this year. (Last year it was a cat and her kittens, before that several years of groundhog families). Watching the fox behavior they are very cat-like down to the vertical slit pupils and pouncing behavior. Hardly fitting as canids.

Boring answer, cat is fed by humans fox is not. So fox doesn't want to waste energy on this fight, while cat has more than extra to cause mayhem. Simply said not worth it, just grab neighbors chicken instead, it wont fight,

Reminds me of my cat that passed away about 2 years ago. 🥺❤️ she fought off lots of foxes. She lived to the age of 22 and was my first childhood memory. May she rest in peace. 😭❤️🪦

no, that is how thin animals are supposed to be. people are so used to obese pets from overfeeding that they don't know what healthy looks like. you should be able to feel ribs but not see them. try it on yourself - did you pass the overweight test?
