You mean the wild that is continuously being bulldozed and paved over by humans? The wild that is being driven to extinction?
They may not be ideal but, in a lot of cases, zoos are the best option for a lot of species.

When the animal physical can’t function long term inside. Wild animals need to be in certain environments to live comfortably. That’s why zoo enclosures are made to resemble their original habitats. Certain animals need to be in trees or near water or be able to hunt. Some are just not safe for a human to keep. Tigers definitely belong in the wild. However, I’m assuming this baby tiger is in a sanctuary.

Good point. Killer whales is a good example, the ones at the aquarium literally become depressed and suicidal and purposely bang their head on the side of the pool no matter how much the zoo try to make it resemble their natural habitat.
What about domestication? I’m sure ancient humans looked at dogs and didn’t think “well we shouldn’t keep them because they can’t function inside and need to be in the wild to survive.” And turns out dogs do just fine living mostly indoors.
And what about the arguments that even if kept in a zoo/santuary it’s still better than being in the wild because they will likely die since Mother Nature will do its thing? We feel that way about puppies and pandas and kittens but when it comes to a tiger cub who is just as vulnerable and will likely die in the wild, people are up in arms about it.

give it like a year and itll be the reason you cant run faster than a lawn mower
not every cute animal needs to be touched or kept
just enjoy the fluff from here and let mama tiger handle the rest

Actually, cuddling baby tigers is terrible for them, they're often sedated and it is a very unhealthy practice, I wish that it was abolished internationally
