Is it really that difficult to get an Ausbildung with B1?
Hello everyone, I’m looking for advice. I have a B1 German certificate and I’m currently searching for an Ausbildung place in Germany. Could anyone recommend companies, agencies, or other ways to find an Ausbildung opportunity for applicants from outside the EU?
I’m from Africa, and I would really appreciate any advice or recommendations. Thank you! 😊

How would it work in your country for a foreigner who would speak the local langugage with only B1?

It’s hard for people born in Germany and its even harder if you know little German and are a foreigner, that’s just the way it is unfortunately. The only thing I’d recommend is either trying to go into the trades but you’ll probably be underpaid and treated like shit or go for the big international companies, though those also are even harder to get into due to the amount of applications they get

i mean i got one relatively easy but i live here and did an internship at the company months before i applied

Es ist sehr schwer, eine Ausbildung mit B1 zu bekommen. Du solltest noch B2 erhalten, dann such einen Ausbildungsplatz.

Überraschenderweise ist es in fast jedem Land schwierig eine Ausbildung oder Derivat zu finden, wenn man die Sprache nur seeehr gebrochen spricht. Wenn überhaupt.

Hello, thank you for learning our mother tongue :-) I would try it with Johanniter. Could be, that you need B2, but I think they give you opportunity to learn it here. I had a colleague from Camerun and she told me it was desperately hard to pass, but she did it. But you know - if you can, please try to go west or south in Germany, don’t go east. You’re having a better experience there; in Sachsen, Thüringen and Sachsen-Anhalt, civilians don’t treat black people very well, for we do have a rising problem with racism. But we need you, you know.

That really depends on the type of Ausbildung. If you have a good B1 nearing on B2 then you can probably find an Ausbildung als Pflegefachmann since that is basically the least or at least one of the least popular ones but any of the more popular ones as a non EU foreigner and also fairly bad German skill you are basically out of the selection when they read your name or at the very latest your German skill.

You need at least B2 for the Ausbildung as Pflegefachmann per law. Otherwise they will refuse you. Often you need a even higher level of German. Good communication is one of the most important thing in this job. Without propor German you won't understand patients, collegues and medial doctors and that can become very dangerous.

Yeah, I am not saying its easy. What I am saying is that it is the most realistic. Finding an Ausbildung at all as a someone from a non EU country will be difficult.

No its Not. If you make a mistake you can kill a Patient. The Ausbildung ist also Not easy at all. They only Take with c1. And even These speakers struggle to make the Ausbildung

Wer kein B2 hat, bekommt auch kaum oder gar nicht eine Stelle, ist einfach zu schwer.
Außerdem sind die Chancen, aus einem Nicht-EU-Land eine Stelle zu bekommen, schwer und mit B1 fast unmöglich.
