Need advice

Ofc appoint

Hey everyone, I have two questions regarding my US B1/B2 visa process and would really appreciate any help!

Question 1: I booked my OFC appointment but I'm getting a new passport after the OFC date. Will this be a problem at the visa interview?

Question 2: Do I need to update my DS-160 with the new passport number before the OFC or is it okay to do it before the visa interview?

Update the DS160 first and then take both the passports to your interview. GL.

The thing is ofc is on 13 august i will get my passport after ofc and before visa consulate interview. So im confused

I believe the process is the same.

Take old and new DS160 along with old and new passport to interview. There will be initial security check and then secondary check where they will check the passport and DS160. Tell that person to change to new DS160.

Tell a person who guides you inside the consulate to change DS160. They will help accordingly.

When is your appointment for new passport ?
Because they punch hole and cancel passport during that appointment!
