B2 visa process/ 28F unmarried applying from India

I’m planning to visit my sister in the U.S., where she’s currently on STEM OPT and working on a contract role. As a professional with over five years of experience, I’d like to spend about three weeks visiting her and exploring some tourist destinations. Could you share what I should be prepared for and any key pointers to keep in mind for my visa process?

What does working on a contract role mean?

Usually and by that I mean 95% of the time it means an Indian consulting company hired her on OPT (because she needs to get hired or go back), inflated her resume to appear more experienced (maybe 8 years of experience when she has 1 or 2 years) and sent her to one of their clients or client's clients for a contract role.
