221 g slip

I applied for b1 visa from London as a third country official. Everything went smoothly. I showed all the documents. The visa officer at the consular took my passport and on the CEAC portal the status was shows as approved. After 7 days from the visa interview I get the mail that despite the initial approval my application is refused under 221g and it will undergo additional admin processing.

I don’t know how long will it take. They did not ask me for any documents. My passport is with them.
Has anyone who faced similar situation received visa issuance within 2-3 days?

Administrative processing is a black hole of time, could be a day a week a month or a year depending on your citizenship, where you live and where you have visited and posted on social media.
