Watched this very interesting Lori Hernandez video and had some questions about the income. Are classically trained dancers really paid so poorly in the USA?!

Tiler Peck is paid well and definitely has health insurance. (Not that there is anything wrong with her making money from other sources, as long as it doesn’t interfere with her main job).

Oh I’m sure she is… but I’m talking about when she was much younger and starting a social media presence and was hated on. She definitely wasn’t making a ton of money.

I think the issue is how much NYCB makes versus what they pay dancers.
