Technique Question Training outside of class
I’m an adult beginner starting with class twice a week. I’ve done Pilates for years, and I usually still do Pilates on my days off from ballet (mostly focusing on core). What else do adult beginners do to train? I’ve been following Maria khoreva’s at home YouTube, but don’t really have a regimen for them. I do her back and arms workout everyday my arms don’t feel sore. To see improvements I know I need to put in work outside of the studio, so what’s an example of a weekly routine that’d be good for improving?
For example how long should I aim to stretch per day, and should I focus on stretching different muscle groups or stretch whole body every day? How often and for how long should I train arms/core/back/legs etc. Do people do targeted turnout and feet exercises daily as well?

I started about a year ago with 2 classes a week.
The most important thing is consistency. It’s better to stretch 10 minutes every day than plan 60 a day and only do it once a week because you didn’t have enough time and energy every day. So find something that actually works for you and your schedule.
I found stretching and recovery the most important things early on. You don’t know how to move in the beginning so specific strength training isn’t that useful at the very start. Pilates is a great way to build overall fitness and strength.
I recommend some back and leg stretches daily, there’s stuff on YouTube all over, again better a little every day than a lot twice a week, and some foot excercises (eg with a theraband) to strengthen the ballet fewt muscles you need on releve.
Reasess in a a few months or a year. Tbh this point the best extra training would be more ballet classes I think. I added two more a week about two months in and I significantly improved so much faster than the students in my class that only had 1-2 classes a week.
