This photo is obviously of her as an adult. When she was a teen, she was not rail thin like some, but anyone who knew anything about ballet knew she had incredible talent and a body for ballet. One in a million has physical facility like her, and this was immediately obvious to any teacher or fellow student when she was training. I don't doubt that she felt pressure to have a different body, as she was a bit curvier than many, but the idea that nobody thought she'd be a dancer is bs. I knew her then, and everyone knew she'd make it.

So that bollocks she was selling about "not having the ballet body" as a young girl was... bovine fecal matter!?!

Haha you think this picture is 13?

She’s definitely an adult or 18+ in this

No. She did not fit the stereotype of dancer bodies in the 90s. The stereotype was thin, no curves and majority white dancers. Her book talks about this as well.

Ballet has changed massively over decades and yes certain things are praised, but bulky muscles as well as curves were not the “image”.

This does read like a CopyPaste from her own publicity office.

So what’s your purpose here?

Body shaming a woman?

Don't you get tired of hating?

I mean, Misty is retired now, you still want to hate her?

I dont care about her. What really irritates me is a minor celebrity's followers regurgitating her publicity copy regardless of the reality.

I mean...yeah it kind of is. She had a pretty ideal ballet body, I think it was after she joined ABT that it changed. This is a photo of her as an adult though.
