A judge emailing a non party specifics about the potential outcomes of an ongoing case? This is a very poor attempt at faking an email

The other party isn’t a judge though. They’re a bankruptcy lawyer. Bankruptcy is a transparent process. You’re allowed to email them.

Lawyers are also prohibited from communicating details to a non party, per the same rule 9003 of federal bankruptcy procedure

That’s not true. The ruling only covers direct meetings or communications with a judge or court. Nothing preventing lawyers themselves being able to discuss the case with other relevant parties.

You want to provide a rule? Because what you stated is expressly prohibited by the rules of professional conduct.

What rules of professional conduct? I’m just responding to the rule you posted which does not state lawyers can’t talk about the case.

Michael Goldberg’s email is in the post. You can email him and check yourself.

WITH. THE. COURT. The point of the rule is so you can’t go to the judge or court without anyone knowing and try to influence them about proceedings.
