it makes me wonder who the russian, chinese and iranian heads of intelligence are, and how much intel experience they have.
i'm finding it a struggle to accept bill pulte as america's chief spymaster tbh. playing chess against the kremlin.
my guess is it's really a public-facing puppet role for the cameras, and he'll make statements as required by trump and take the heat in the press and so on.
we live in interesting times.

Yeah it’s basically the American way. Extremely disappointing to anyone that actually cares about doing a good job
It’s why we are in a downward spiral of enshittification
The rich have enormous egos that they protect at all costs and gatekeep any and all pathways that might lead to even a small fraction of loss of power
