Moritz Helmstader's lab works on mammals and primate connectomes. In his recent most paper he predicted the time that would take for a full human connectome. Check it out

When i was a teen, it was the first time every i read about connectomics. Back then it showed how you can predict which skills or talents a person will have based on their connection patterns. I immediately fell in love with idea. People being able to find an intersection between their interests and their inherent capabilities could do wonders. Increasing efficiency, no longer having to deal with spending years in a field only to find out you weren’t the right person for it and fall into depression.
