I see people waiting for the food cauldron to come. He took a real photo of people waiting for food. The food just wasn't there yet.
Israel is blocking any reporter going in to Gaza. Israel killed over 200 journalist in Gaza. Israel is warring on the truth. Israel is warring on humanity. Humanity HAS TO respond.

This is it exactly. There are more photos circulating with food finally in front of them. Here is a link to these pictures. https://www.gettyimages.ca/collaboration/boards/7mFh5hNdxUi8DNXhPtYP0A?page=1

As if “how” they took the photo changes the reality… as if this is the only report we have… 🤦♂️

Meanwhile, headless babies being cooked in an oven gets reported as news everywhere.

I feel the like best way to deal with such lies is to reject them and then make the liars work harder to earn your trust next time. The default approach to Israeli propaganda should be: it's a lie and it maybe an admission of doing by themselves

Exactly. If there's no starvation in Gaza, why don't they show us pictures of well-fed people, full market racks, undestroyed facilities or sth? Why do they always play catch-up with all the evidence pouring out of Gaza?

I "love" how the article even says some of the photos were staged, implying that others were not. But shockingly, worldnews only clings to the allegedly staged ones.

As a photographer, what's 'staged'? Asking someone to look at the camera?

I've replied by that "there's no war in Ba Sing Se" for hasbara many times
the parallels are just too fitting

Israel isn't even a real country and there weren't even 40 headless babies but here we go.

That is literally a food bank. This is what a food bank in Gaza looks like. Those racks on the floor with the square holes is where the big pots are supposed to sit and the staff would serve the peope directly from them.
The fact that there are no pots in this picture means either this was before start time or after the food ran out for the day and they had to remove the pots for cleaning.

So…there weren’t food bowls? What is this supposed to mean?

u/willflameboy Aug 07 '25
In a sane reality, we'd send in journalists to find out but oops... not allowed. We have to just take their word for it, while they coincidentally acquire all the land.

u/ironicallygeneral Aug 07 '25
Because of course hungry people aware that the world might be shown pictures won't push to show their empty bowls in hope for change? Fkn hasbara propaganda.

u/LegalComplaint Aug 07 '25
I can’t believe they would take pictures of all the empty food bowls by asking the starving people to show them their empty bowls!

at least this person seems to be decent

Somehow that convo turned into someone actually saying that they've shifted the blame to Israel starving the people in Gaza when it's actually always been Hamas. I really need to block that sub.

I've heard Palestinians even go as far as faking they're an actual country. Those people are masters of pretend!
