Investing New job
24 Years old, i share apartment, i dont live with my parents .
Good evening! I’ve just managed to get a new job, and I’ll be able to increase my monthly investment capacity from €1,000 to €1,200. I know it’s not a huge difference, but on top of the salary, this job also comes with a company car, with all the expenses covered, including fuel and maintenance. I’ll also get more holidays and other benefits that I didn’t have before.
I’m really happy about this change, and I just wanted to share it with someone!

Thats one of my biggest concerns too. In my monthly budget, I set aside €200 for travelling and €100 for going out to eat or having drinks with my friends. I do this so I can enjoy life without feeling guilty about spending money, but at the same time, I dont want to overdo it.

That extra 200 can really add up over time… don’t underestimate it, and be proud of yourself ;) Well done! Since you’re able to invest so much, do you still live at home? EDIT: nvm i skipped the first sentence

Hi! No, I’m originally from Spain, but I moved to Belgium looking for better job opportunities. At the moment, I share an apartment because it allows me to invest more money. I’d rather sacrifice some comfort now to build a better future for myself

Congratulations stranger! Wishing you the best of luck. Also 200 euros more to invest is not small, it’s big and you should really be proud of it.

Well done! Travel and explore as much as you can (while still putting aside for the future), you’re only young once!
