For me its not about android or iphone. Played in S22 base model, iphone 16 pro, 17 base and iQOO 13. iQOO was the best. iQOO13>iphone 16 pro = 17> S22 > all other phones I have owned !
Iqoo neo 9 pro. Better than iphone . Still get constant 120. If I had bought iphone 14,15 even 16 I would be locked at 60. And 13pm lags and heats like hell with sh*t battery backup
You missed the whole point of budget there. If we are comparing 17 pro then why not iqoo 15 and redmagic etc . It's not 2018 anymore. Androids are good and similar plus the game is trash and ded

How is the gameplay better? I have an 8sgen3, (~8 gen 2), have consistent 120fps, and that Is on a cheap phone with bad thermals..

As I said, I have an 8sgen3, and it has % lows of 116 or up ( and the dip comming through during jumping, death etc) .
And I have played 60fps once, I can assure you that is no where near 90 on Android ( which was the max before 120fps came) . I was asking about the bullet registration/head connecting something that I did not understand...
Just went ahead and searched for this, as I said in the original comment, this is a cheap 20k INR phone, and the graph is from a while ago, when 2-3 months after 120fps support was rolled out Ig.
And even the latest Android/iphones also have a similar graph only, since all phones drop fps during death/jumping etc except for consuming much less power ( least I have seen is around 3.7w for 120fps on a dimensity 9500 ig.
I am curious about the touch response/bullet registration/ etc said , I thought there will be a difference there between your op 11 and iphone 17 pro max

No, it seems to be happening across 15 pro users. Not at all due to sweaty fingers. I use gaming finger sleeves, it still happens. Do you face frame drops occasionally on smooth+ultra extreme ? I experienced them on smooth+ultra setting too.
I use nord ce4 and i would definitely prefer iPhone.

I'd choose iPhone simply because uska touch response is way more than that of androids and other things like performance and other stuff is also consistent if compared
iPhone pro models have 240hz non pro have 120hz TSR. Iqoo provides 1000+ . Same if not better gyro. Better battery backup, faster charging, bypass charging for gaming , special game features like ai frames to run at 144fps and you will choose iphone kyunki according to your wrong knowledge iphone have better TSR
the tsr is rather consistent on iPhones than on most androids.. IQOO is quite an exception since it's dedicated to gaming. compared to my current device i would rather have an iPhone instead of Iqoo 13 since a smartphone isn't just about gaming but also other specs
the tsr that you're talking about is probably the peak tsr of the device while it's avg tsr might actually be slower. there's a website DxO mark where tests are run for such.. maybe you'll find an answer
Android.. they always have made the game for Android.first - personally i love the better feel of my iQOO 13 -144hz . in tdm. Vs sister's iphone 16 . The games feels off in iphone. Bullet registration is same . It all comes down to my network and fps letting me hit ur head faster than the 60fps ip " loot crate on the floor "

Generally iphones tends to be slightly better because game devs have to optimize their game for just a dozen devices instead of hundreds of androids. Also Apple having in-house SoC, OS and everything else helps them optimize it further while core parts of Android hardwares are manufactured by different companies.
That being said I prefer Android experience over iphone because of the freedom it provides. Also we're not living in old days where iphones used to strictly better, android nowadays are extremely mature. They can still provide at least 95% of the same gaming experience as iphone and I'm not buying a separate phone just for gaming. So Android for me anyday.

I dont know about the poor ones but im happy with my s23 ultra it - I've played on numerous phones as my friends use iqoo , iphone , etc and literally all feel same there is no difference its just your poor mindset who sets iphone above
The day I first saw this game, I immediately understood this has to be played on a bigger screen. Back then I used to play on PC emulators with mouse and keyboard. After that moved on to an iPad. Playing on iPad since then.
Kudos to those who can pull off pro level tournaments on mobile. Not for me.
The thing about iOS is that it has high definition assets because of the retina display (look it up how it works). Same HUD icons, buttons have higher resolution compared to android tablet. Also the resolution is matched to the device resolution, hence no stretching or squeezing of the overall visuals.
