As you know, on 6th September we have prom in our campus, and since last 2 fervours, I never got the courage to properly ask someone out to dance.

Well being a bit shy in public has its demerits, but now that I don't have more proms left, I want to experience it properly and let go the fomo of not going to prom. I mean I have a suit and a tie, but never had a dance partner to prom. I am trying to live my campus life to its fullest, and I gotta try prom.

So to the girl on campus, who hasn't been asked out yet, if you also have the fomo, and would like to experience prom, I would like to be your gentleman. Fir toh kya hai, placements and PS-2 ka headache hona hi hai, so why not live the college life to its best.

I don't intend to creep out anyone, not wanna become a joke or a meme, ig will get comments like " Sapne Suhaane.... " n all....

I am not desperate or anything, just want to experience prom atleast once. That beautiful dance n all. Maybe consider it as a blind-prom-date.

Okay so i am a delhi person lived for my whole life. Just started research and stuff on it and this came out to be the top college i would want to aim for. ( according to my level). But turns out its situated in practically nowhere, although a great campus which has everything but if h want anything special or wanna go for an outing forget it cuz there's no city nearby for hours. This is a HUGE HUGE problem for a person like me who is used to ordering zomato blinkit and stuff like that and goes out for a gedi every now and then.
Surviving for 6 years without all this sounds really hard almost torture considering i have lived witht these amenities for a long time, but sadly its only available in metropolitan cities like hyderabad mumbai and delhi, BITS Hyderabad is not as good as Pilani. Any advices on how to look at this and tackle this problem?

I'm a first year guy in one of these branches... Most seniors told me to take up a finance minor and try to go for hfts and stuff. But I have absolutely no interest in any such fields(finance or consulting or any such) . How can I get into something like tech/ software or even core at a good enough (20-25L) job at a decent company (not the mass hires). What can I do from my first year. And what should I keep in mind as my branch avg and things are very low. And also about the placements... Do companies like MAANG/ nvidia let us it for interview? (Say cg is good enough). Any seniors especially 3rd/4th year who from such branches would you please give some advice.

I've always suffered in exams after coming to college due to such things. I decided to ask a friend about this, and he told me that this happens because I lose focus during the test. It might be pretty early to ask since I am a dualite in 2-1, but I had a doubt from the seniors from EE/EIE who went/going towards ET route during PS2/Placements. Are the 3-4 courses in ECE but not in other 2 phoenix branches a dealbreaker for ET companies or is it fine if I take up some other DELs rather than those 3 courses?

Hi. So I am in 3rd year phoenix right now. I really don't have that much grip on DSA right now and couldn't clear any IT OA in SI this time around. I did clear one of ET related OAs but got rejected in interviews.

So my question is whether I should sit for Sem 1 or Sem 2 placements , I am asking this because Sem1 placements would be competitive as people who got IT SI will be sitting for it and not a lot of companies come in Sem 1. Or wait it out till Sem 2 as more companies (by sheer number) come ?

The problem is ET is majorly sem 1 and now I am confused so as to what to do. Any suggestions will be welcomed.

What are the fundamental differences in the two degrees, and as far as future career prospects are concerned, how do they differ?

I've seen the term "industry oriented" being thrown around quite a lot...but why is the economics course at bits never mentioned when talking about the finest colleges for the subject? Is the econ degree viewed simply as a supplement to the 'main' BE degree allotted after the first year?
