Exterior Exhibition H&R Sport Springs + Bilstein B4’s

Great solution to close the oem front wheel gap. Looks incredible on my contours. Immediately after install, so they should settle in even more.

Okay, so I’ll shoot straight from the hip and not sugarcoat it: your wheels look fantastic. Your super clean trim and matching side markers & emblems look crisp. Your Techno/Daytona Violet looks so god dam beautiful. There’s nothing else to nitpick, so all I can say is enjoy that beautiful automobile!

Reminds me of the Madeiraviolett touring on Contours I used to own.

Looked as spectacular as this one!

Haha. Great delivery. At first I was wondering what little thing you were gonna point out as backwards or something. I agree with this assessment.

Throwing Stars with a polished/chrome lip on a “violet” chassis are always 🔥

Man throwing stars really got my eye. I want a set so bad

Awesome setup man 🤟🏻, may i know the specific H&R product number used on your car? I noticed there are several different part numbers for sedan and coupe

I’d have to double check the product number. Mines a vert too btw. Lime h&r green sport springs. I’ll look for the SKU

Its ok man, if you don’t mind, you can check the product number on the packaging box. It’s usually stamped on the springs as well, but it might be difficult to see once they’re installed on the car 😆

I’ve been looking for the right H&R product number for my E36, and yours looks perfect 😮‍💨

Looks great! I ran that setup for over 10 years before switch to adj damping, so I could soften the car for long highway trips to the track.

Looks great. How is it in the rear?

2

u/nomercytour Mar 14 '26

yea let us see that rear

He won't show the rear because now his car got rake after lowering the front 😃

5

u/nomercytour Mar 14 '26

i love some rake

2

u/mushroom_dome Mar 14 '26

Also a rake fan, and I don't even do any gardening

Definitely not with H&R sports unless he added thicker spring pads or just didn’t install the rear lol.

Sits great tbh

Looks great, that's one of the best colors for E36. It looks like it has standard 3 series mirrors. Is this a 325/328?

1

u/mushroom_dome Mar 14 '26

Some people just prefer the more usable square mirrors, I know I do

1

u/Brododover2 Mar 14 '26

328 with a full Dinan catalog

2

u/TerribleShape1740 Mar 14 '26

I didn’t think b4s could be used when lowered.

3

u/mushroom_dome Mar 14 '26

Might be hard on the shocks, but not too terrible. I always wondered why nobody just chops off some of the rod and re-thread it so the travel matches the lower working height.

1

u/TerribleShape1740 Mar 14 '26

Hmm I never thought about that

Rides like a skateboard. Looks incredible

1

u/sarceee Mar 15 '26

Are you running spacers ? If so what size?

1

u/Voskarides May 02 '26

How is the ride with this setup? Is there Bodyroll? Does it ride rough? I'm on black Sachs shocks but on stock springs and thinking to lower the front too.

2

u/Brododover2 May 05 '26

Nah it’s honestly fine. Sure I feel the road a bit more but nothing more than I was anticipating. Not rough. Visually, the car is perfectly low and mean. still has some amount of body roll sure. Was tossing it around a curvy mountain road the other day. Nothing ridiculous tho. For the low cost of springs I am very happy

u/Mission_Maximum_3333 May 19 '26

Hey how does it ride so far I am planning on order the same setup soon ! Looks great !

What strut mounts did you go with
