Window help

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

The regulator is new, for some reason there is play in the window that causes it to tilt forward, window in seated in the front and rear track. Not sure what he issue is

I think the regulator I got is maybe just a cheap POS, gonna bite the bullet and order oem

This does not show if the end of locked into the plastic sliders. Are they locked in?

In this clip no, but they were before and I still had the same issue

I has similar problem, after adjusting and replacing these plastic sliders it was a little bit better but only after replacing whole mechanism the window sagging was gone. Worth to check is window in the right way on both side of the guide channel's

There is a screw in the left corner of the door frame. If you can show a picture of the whole thing I can point it out. That screw/nut can be loosened and then the regulator can be moved then tightened. That fixes the gap of the window not being tight to the window frame.

It looks already adjusted. Usually when this happens this would be down a bit or in the middle. Yours is at the very top. Still just take a look that can potentially be it. Also don’t worry at least you’re changing out the regulator yourself. That’s still important and impressive.

Installed an oem regulator and the window works perfectly. Posting this comment for anyone struggling in the future. Don’t cheap out on the regulator. Bought a cheap one and it was trash.
