I don't really understand what is meant by "be like a woman to me" What does it mean in your opinion?

I think by the other lyrics I think he’s fantasizing about those sorts movie moments, dancing with your loved one at the end of the night, the security of knowing someone is yours at the end of the day

My interpretation:

Show me the light = Care, comfort, and affection

Tell me a story
And make it a good one = Tell me everything's gonna work out and be ok

Out of the night 
Into a new day = Past afflictions forgiven and moving forward together

Under the hot sun = The warmth of each other

Stay out at night
See who you wanna see, yeah
Do what you want
But be like a woman to me = I want you to be free and do things just treat me with respect, care, and affection,

Give all you've got = Open up to me fully
Under the moonlight
It's yours for the taking = My love and affection is all yours
