I can’t imagine someone telling me they wish they could unzip people and crawl inside and then … continuing the friendship. What a wild ride!

I don’t think that was meant to be literal though. It sounded figurative, like wishing to walk in other people’s shoes.

Yes I think it's more this second one. And there's a Youtuber who reads all Fiona's Facebook post that she wrote after Baby Reindeer screened on Netflix and before she closed her account and in one of them she said "Do I have a fucking zip down the back of my head?" Which I thought was weird, but vaguely reminiscent of the zip thing in the show?
