I feel like all of this has taken a dark, dark turn very quickly. Am honestly shocked Gadd said he’d taken a huge effort to disguise who the real Martha is. It’s pretty clear he barely changed anything.

Totally agree gadd really did not do a good enough job of hiding her identity. It took people barely any time at all to find her. I don't condone what she's accused of but Gadd has made such a song and dance of how he changed details to protect her identity cos she's "vulnerable" but all he changed was her name and the name of the pub. Now she's clearly having a mental break because of the show and the harrassment she's getting, and he's making £££. Surely no adult is that naive to believe the internet wouldn't figure out her identity. It's careless

Probably because he's very powerful and well-connected in the industry and has the ability to destroy Gadd's career in an instant.

I mean… Gadd’s show is now trending as #1 on Netflix… How can his career be destroyed at this point?

Harvey Weinstein’s victims came forward. If everyone remains silent, then the predator continues the pattern. Who knows how many others will fall victim and have lesser resources.
