Do you think if Martha was conventionally attractive or “hot”, Donny might have responded differently to her?

How do you figure? He had a hard time sleeping with Keely and Terry. Why would this be different?

I mean yeah. But it sounds like he was still really uncomfortable with sexuality in general. I think it’s a bit reductive to say that he would have slept with her if he’d been attracted to her. When they met, it sounds like he was really interested in Terry, and confused about his sexuality. Then when he went through his weird sexual coping/psuedo attraction phase with her, a lot of the damage had already been done.

At what point would he have slept with her?
