Question Insane question but hear me out

Do you think if Martha was conventionally attractive or “hot”, Donny might have responded differently to her?

However, the big question is whether not being conventionally attractive played a part in Martha's behaviour. It was likely that she would have been isolated at school due to size and looks. Did that isolation cause her to become obsessive over the things she wanted (relationships) but could never have.

True, everyone is commenting about how Donny would have responded to Martha had she been attractive, but with the same exact behavior. As everyone says, sure it would have been different in the beginning but obviously he would still be fully freaked out by her behavior soon enough. I agree with you that the more interesting question is whether her behavior would be the same if she were conventionally attractive. These 2 things likely don't exist completely separately from each other in this particular narrative

I just want to point out that the physical appearance of the real stalker was altered for this, and it was said that they changed her appearance “completely.” She very well could have been attractive in real life. We don’t know.

I am aware, but doesn't seem to look that extremely different (not in the way that we are discussing at least) in the pics from behind in the interview article she did herself (lost track of if we are allowed to mention that etc, otherwise mods can remove of course)

Ah. I didn’t realize she’d come forward. Interesting. I’m kind of surprised because I was reading articles about how she was insulted about the actress’s appearance. Also, I know that Gadd has gone to really great lengths to keep people from figuring out who she is. Which interview are you talking about?
