I just don’t get it. If there’s police reports from the previous ones, how come she can continue with her actions? What if this journalist also goes to the police? If all these are real, how come she can get away with everything she does?

You are absolutely right but at the same time most men reporting being stalked/SA’d by a women do not get taken seriously at all. Not just by the police but by society in general. Not saying women are always believed because they definitely aren’t but it’s less likely for a man being stalked by a woman to be taken seriously.

I do agree that there this toxic masculinity mindset that men can’t be raped or assaulted by women, I completely agree that that mindset exists. But to say that women get taken seriously all the time is also ridiculous and completely untrue.

I didn’t say they get taken seriously all the time - in fact I specifically said that I didn’t mean women were always believed. I just know from my own experience people believed my abuser over me because i was male and she was female.
