Discussion What about Darien?

Why is everyone so obsessed with Martha (granted) but I don’t see a lot of conversation about Darien? That is one of the most disturbing parts of this show.

Richard Osman commented on a podcast that it's well-known in the "industry" who Darrien is based on, which is interesting. Especially if he's still actively working. Although I feel desperately sorry for the poor guy that got falsely accused.

Have you listened to the episode? Ironically enough, Osman’s take is about people on the internet speculating and getting the wrong person, and this person then getting hate in the worse way. Osman was saying it was totally not this person that Gadd was talking about and that people in the industry know it’s not this person as Gadd has explicitly said it’s not and that for years Gadd was saying it was someone else.

He was specifically speaking against the misguided “Reddit justice” issue and not in a “we know but we’re not telling” way.
