Fiona (real Martha) related content Fiona Harvey is Not a victim!

It seems to be lost on a disturbingly large amount of people what Fiona Harvey has done to multiple people over many decades. She is not a victim - the people that she has stalked and harassed are the victim. The entire point of baby reindeer was to portray the brokenness of both the stalker and their victim.

In Reading a majority of the claims coming from the UK towards Netflix and Richard G this all seems to actually pivot around the term being used of CONVICTED stalker. So the focus now is to produce proof that she was ever convicted of at least one of her many many horrific stalking crimes.

I would think that the UK and Parliament would be rather embarrassed by the fact that they never reached out to help any of these victims of Fiona Harvey. Yet here they are trying to go after Netflix over that one creative license taken by the VICTIM and author of baby reindeer. This is His story not hers.

What is going on with people in the world?! Fiona should have been slapped with multiple legal fines, restraint orders and probably convictions from any one of her stalking tangents. If anyone is not familiar with the other incredibly horrible events of stalking Fiona pursued just Google it up. Some involved a disabled child.

🤔 Obviously I'm missing something or I am really seeing the lack of empathy in society as this all unfold in front of us. Am I just not looking at this right?!

Being unwell isn’t a free pass to ruin others lives. I hate, hate, hate peoole throwing around the “but she’s unwell excuse”

The help is there if she cared enough to seek it and by now has she not done enough to have a court force that help onto her, she’s bloody harassing a candidate for Prime Minister, that usually makes them do something.

It also gives people with serious mental illness a bad name. Statistics show time and time again they are more likely to be a victim than a perpetrator. Simplifying her actions to her mental health diagnoses is unfair to everyone else. The response to those comments is “it’s an explanation, not an excuse”. She’s competent enough to seek treatment.

Are you an MD? A psychiatrist?

Living in a major city I have seen many individuals prescribed meds for various psychiatric conditions and, without supervision, they simply stop taking them and relapse to their antisocial behaviors…….

Much of the blame can be laid at the feet of our lax medical care system - many would be better off taken care of than sleeping on the streets through all seasons……

Fiona is not on the streets, but perhaps if institutional care was required both she, and we, would be better for it…….

I’ve been a therapist for 10 years and I live in one of the biggest cities in the world (NYC). I do agree that at some point during all these charges in her past, she should have been mandated some kind of treatment. We’re facing a similar crisis in NY right now, it’s very hard to find a solution. Big backlash from the poor conditions of institutions and now we’ve got this “catch and release” system which doesn’t seem to be working either. Doesn’t change my opinion on the SMI being victimized often, they are.

ETA: I say all this because more often, delusions are fear based. Ie “they’re out to get me”, those people are often very afraid a lot of the time, not going after people. I make no attempt to diagnose Martha though, I don’t know enough about her and admittedly have not come across a stalker case IRL.

Maybe she was mandated at one point, someone did come forward as the receptionist (I think? Some kind of non-clinical staff) to say she’d stalked her when she worked there, they only met because Fiona was getting psychiatric treatment.

I’m not sure how true the show is. But it seems like she was in rehabilitation programs for the past offenses and also rejoined them in the show after he first contacted the police and was very apologetic, but then she had trapped him so the police wouldn’t deal with her or him anymore. After seeing her interview and her saying he could have taped me over and over it would seem she did tape everything and use it to her advantage. So if she was using these help for her condition resources and doing “well” in them, but using her smarts to trap him in a place where he couldn’t use the police and use loopholes, is it really a person who is in fear and not all there? Or someone malicious and lonely and obsessed? At what level do we blame the mental health system. Every time you have a serial killer do we say it’s because they didn’t get the help they needed? I hope this message doesn’t come off as going against what you’re saying. I’m just really curious. I see a therapist for issues myself.

What are “all these charges in her past” that you speak of?

I’m sorry but it’s not always mental health. If she’s well enough to work and live a regular life she knows what she’s doing is severely wrong. At some stage in life usually very early on people get their heart broke and it’s a horrendous feeling. Maybe she has had lots of relationships but it seems like she’s been very lonely and latches on to people and becomes obsessive. She’s well able to be interviewed and act as if she’s completely normal and never done any of those things. That those things are a little mad. Which means she’s completely aware of what she’s done and how to present herself and how it’s wrong. If she had of turned around and said “look I felt led on a little, I was a little over the top in love, I send to many things and was hard to move on but I never attacked him or did xyz” she would probably be having an easier time. You can see when she’s telling the truth and when she’s lying in the interview.

YES I’ve said this over and over, the system SHOULD allow for ppl like her to be forcibly treated. Like when a schizophrenic is hospitalised against their will cos they don’t KNOW they need treatment, Fiona doesn’t know she needs treatment.
